Aside from defense with vando, thiero, jake and smart, they need more scoring option. Scoring option that will get the chip out of the shoulder of luka and ar.

To those saying “Trade AR”, AR is Averaging 28P/5R/6A however, let’s say His Numbers Drop to 25P/5R/6A, that is $35ish Million a Year!!!
We can’t/won’t Trade AR on His Current Salary so, if We “Sign & Trade” AR in Summer 2026, here are Our Realistic Options – 1) Giannis who I don’t think is coming to LA 2) Lauri who could be a Good Fit 3) Zion who is Injury Stricken and 4) MPJ who is a Par Defender @ Best. Our Best Option is to Sign AR and possibly look to move Him in Summer 27 if He isn’t a Good Fit!!!!

This. Is. Not. A. Title. Team. We can win a series, best case we win two. It would be in our best interest to capitalize on Aytons play this year and trade him to give us some second round picks to play with, maybe a first. Marcus Smart probably gets us the same. As does Rui. Use this year to rebuild some assets, we’ll have $50m+ this off-season to rebuild the roster when some really good 3 and D players will be hitting the market. Eason, Matherin, Kessler are all RFA but each team could be convinced not to match a $20m+ offer. Keon Ellis, Ayo, Thybulle, Rob Williams are UFA. Even Wiggins has a player option he might be willing to decline to get long term security. We aren’t winning the West this year let alone the title, we should build some assets. Luka Bron and Austin probably carry us to round 2 regardless.
