My selfish reaction to this is snubbing him is only going to make him elevate his game (which is already at a career high) to new levels. Was he robbed? Yes. Is he the type of person to use this as fuel? Also yes.
As long as his family, friends, and fans recognize him nothing else matters 👍

This year JD took the bag right out of Carters hands IMO. I don’t see how we can pay them both, and when it comes time, if we have to, take JD.

He’s been a monster all season.
They need to find a way to re-sign him. He’s been an absolute monster and his leadership is greatly needed. I also think his confidence has grown along with his improved fitness and I think the sky is the limit for him going forward.
