If the Rangers beat the Islanders, the Hurricanes, the Capitals, and the Panthers in the next 4 games, they will be in the playoff race.
great game ππ LGR!!
I dont think I've ever seen this in π for such a long duration during a season. The disparity with this team in both in how they perform and their win/loss results between home ice and away is astounding to me π€
That was crazy game.
LGR we needed this win!! ππβ€β€π€π€
If the Rangers were able to beat those bottom tier teams, it would put the team in a better playoff position.
LGR!!!!
Rangers missing J.T., Islanders Horvat. Should be a good one Saturday. Lets go NYR.
Knew we could comeback, and beat them!! NYR!! THUMBS UP
Dat a rangers touchdown
Funny how when you go to the net lanes open up, chances are created and some actually go in. Simple fundamentals that I thought Sullivan would have already pounded into their thick skulls.
Btw, I don't know where "they" dug up that still shot of the puck over the line and in Igors glove meshing. His glove was nowhere near the post as their still shot showed.
The Rangers have gone 9-5β2 over the last 16 games, and as of today they are still not in a wildcard spot.
Based on the last 10 years of data, we can make the assumption that roughly 93 points will be necessary to qualify for the playoffs. Letβs say thatβs the magic number. The Rangers currently have 42 points. To reach 93 they will need to gain 51 more points in the standings, with 43 games remaining on the schedule.
They will need to go 24-16-3 the rest of the way to get in.
Two wins against either Chicago, Vancouver or Nashville, three winnable games, and the Rangers would be in 6th place right now. Crazy.
