4. The Jets are tanking and will not be in position organically to get their QB. The 56 yard hooded five iron by Nick Folk against Atlanta killed them.

6. "Y"…….Looking back on the season and even back to when Mougey, Glenn & Co. were hired. Aaron Glenn was in on the rebuild of the Detroit Lions. How did he do it? Year One was an "evaluation process" of players. At the same time you evaluate, you also strip it down. Then comes Year Two.
   Year 2 brings some talent. Progress is made. People in the stands are seeing the culture change.
   Year 3 things are getting real. Players want to play here. Current players are excited to be here . The team wins games that they never did before. Forget playoffs. We're aiming for the ultimate prize.
   This is how I see the Jets going forward over the next couple of years. (I'm hoping so anyhow!)
   I hate to see ANY team tank. In this case, I think it's almost a MUST. If they get the #2 pick and can still get Mendoza, fantastic. What I would like to see is , Joe Namath gets to see the Jets win another Super Bowl before he dies. He deserves that much.

9. Jets know what Justin Fields is and is not, so he put on IR to get slot on roaster for another player with two games left. T. Taylor is old old and on way out. He pro back up. QB Cook is young and needs reps. and game time for real hard look at him from Jets point of view. The Jets have little chance of a win in last two games, so they playing all younger players to get tape to study for next year and for needs in draft. Rebuild takes time and good look at who you have and what you need. Give em a break as 2025 year lost.

12. In regards to Glenn. Hes fine hes the right guy. Once they traded pieces they already were looking to the future. These guys arent naive. They know the way sports operates now and the players know it as well. Its “ said “ without being said . Or the term goes “ whats known dont have to be said “ so players feel and sense that so they check out. Obviously for business…… it cant be said. Bottom line

13. If they fire Glenn after 2026 I say go for Gruden if they have a new young QB. Just don’t let him have access to emails lol. Who else would be available or take the job if Glenn is fired.
