Surely everyone in this sub will read the caption that addresses the penalties being near identical and not just drop that talking point over and over to discredit JPJ
Is penalties why PFF has JPJ rated so low?
Now if he could only stop getting injured every game… I know they are minor injuries but it seems like its every single game
I sincerely hope the coaching staff has him stay behind after practice to take 100 Jugs catches, cuz he’s left about 10 interceptions on the field.
Oh shit, its Tomlin. Players coach. Probably bought him cupcakes instead. Nevermind.
He’s so good. The man reps have been good for some time, people were just only looking at the penalties before. Now the stats make it pretty hard to argue.
JPJ definitely underrated right now but despite these stats I think the eye test puts PS2 a tier above him still.
Is there a metric that adjusts receptions allowed for uncatchable balls?
If he cleaned up the grabbing he’d be #1 in the league
Thats accepted penalties or all penalties? Either way the dude is top notch
Hey welcome back
JPJ is really shaping up. I’d like to see his tackling form improve a bit, but overall, he’s developing really well.
I was gonna say now show the flags, but that makes Pat’s case worse
Please continue to do so. Kid is a beast. I will happily trade the occasional penalty for strong, hands on defensive play.
Thank youuuuu bears. Can’t believe we got this dude on top of round 2 AFTER a blue chip LT
This is the Ramsey effect – looks like he did some fine tuning with JPJ and it’s paying off in a big way.
Still can’t believe Khan essentially got him for Chase Claypool
You love to see it. Unfortunately, what hurts JPJ from getting equal recognition this year is Denver’s defense being ranked 4th in yards per game, while the Steelers are 28th.
This isn’t true. This sub has assured me that JPJ is garbage.
