20 percent better powerplay is like the Leafs are playing with only 4 guys instead of 5
Are you blinking morse code or something dude? 😂
You take the Leafs PP and add it to another team's league average PP and you get the EDM PP.
The Oil have two team's worth of PP production. That is nuts.
Their PP isn't just bad for never scoring, it is an active fear of fans that WE will get scored on during OUR PP
One of the biggest issues the Leafs have had for years is that they assume playing clean will mean they will be shorthanded less…. the problem is that because the refs are more or less instructed to keep calls relatively even it results in the Leafs getting less powerplays, and more questionable calls when a ref is obviously looking for a reason to call a penalty. The obvious negative is that the Leafs get less powerplays generally. The less obvious negative is that teams seem to understand that they can get away with more ironically because of how clean the Leafs play. The refs will keep the penalties relatively even, so our opponents know they can go to town.
GO OILERS GO LOL
And this is the coaches fault because? Do you think the guy says whatever you do try not to score.
Imagine being fired two days before christmas how much of an uproar people would be in if you were a normal employee
You realize the Habs were in a worse spot last season and still came out but I guess when you cheer for the leafs you just give up as soon as you face a bit of adversity.
