It was pretty clear he wasn’t 100% all year. The fact that he was still playing as well and as much as he was while not being able to do a push up is insane.
Anyone who started doubting his talent cause of a down year due to injury are out of their minds.
Jalen Carter at 100% is one of the best defensive players in the league.

He’s going to come out looking like Jax from Mortal Kombat
Whether it’s Landon, Cam, Lane, JC, I anticipate these guys are going to have to get surgery by season end.
Can’t be having guys going into camp not 100% again.
One of the best players overall. Those pass rushes in the divisional round last year vaulted us to a SB.
Couldn’t do a push up does not sound good for a DT.
It would be interesting to know exactly what he had done. I’ve had clean ups on my shoulders in the past and they always took 6+ months before I was feeling 100% healthy again. I just had my second one done on my left shoulder for a torn labrumnand bicep tenodesis and I’m in a sling for 3 weeks and 3-4 months before I’m cleared to return to full activity.
sorry what? he was playing when he couldnt even do a pushup? how do you push a 300 lb OL who is trying to stop you when you cant do a pushup
that sounds insane. thats the future of our defense. surely this is exaggerated.
As a former football player, I can confirm that shoulder injuries are no joke. Glad to see he’s feeling much better. Look to see him dominate this Sunday.
So it sounds like an injury that need surgery to be completed repaired? If he’s still working through it why can’t he sit another week?
I would feel better if he just rested it some more and didn’t play the next 2 games.
0% reason for him to play yet.
This guy is a beast still made the pro bowl even Though he’s at 50%
What kind of procedure does this in just a couple of week???
This is exactly what I was expecting to hear, but it’s still crazy to see the extent to which the injury was hampering him. He couldn’t do a push-up? Brother that’s half the job of a DT 😂😂😂.
This news makes me genuinely concerned for Josh Allen’s safety.
Big if true
I wonder why they didn’t do the procedure sooner
He was clearly hampered by it, not even close to being as disruptive as he can be
No wonder he didn’t seem as good this year
Sounds like the issue isn’t fully resolved. I wonder if he’ll need surgery in the offseason.
If he can get healthy come playoff time. I wouldn’t want to be an opposing QB. Him, JD, hunt, smith Phillips, old man graham, Moro. That’s scary
He underwent a procedure on both arms?
Were… were both arms in a cast?
I was watching his highlights and noticed he didn’t do that swing arm push move as much this year. It worked very well. Hopefully, it’s back.
Josh Allen and James Cook are respectfully and hopefully gonna get crushed. 🙏🏼
We’re going back to back
JC is going to slaughter some poor O-linemen…
Doesn’t exactly sound like a ringing endorsement…
They made that man stronger? Seriously?
That dude is a monster already. Can’t wait.
The hell surgery did he have? I had a torn labrum and it was a 6 month full recovery. Anyone know exactly what he had done on both shoulders?
How about this guy just waits for the playoffs.
