I’ve said this in other threads. The goal here is a settlement. DK, the Steelers and the NFL want this to go away. He files a civil suit, they settle to avoid the bad publicity and this dude gets what he wanted all along – a check.
Is it right – it all depends on what actually happened, which we may never know since no close videos have surfaced yet. In a “he said she said” where one person has nothing to lose and the other one is famous and rich, the rich person ends up writing a check to make it go quiet. NDAs and other releases are signed and it dies as soon as the paper is signed. If Kennedy ever talks about it again, he forfeits the settlement and likely owes DK money at that point.
DK’s own attorney, the Steelers and the NFL will all tell him to settle, get the NDA and the releases and make it go away. Too much money in the NFL for this to drag out.
Is this conference going to retroactively make his team not suck ass?

I live in the same area as this guy and he is a mortgage broker. This is all for publicity for his business to get some free advertising to other Lions fans in the area.
