  1. He's a #3-4, with a chance of development. Maybe 20-25% of reaching a borderline #1 (like Steele). Maybe 5% of becoming a true ace (#5-10 in MLB) type.

  2. Tom is very Cheap, I will never believe anything they say until I see it. Why? Just look at last 5 years since what's his name left and Jed took over. Jed maybe smart but he is a lap dog of a cheap owner.

  3. If it happens to be the Cubs, I would be totally shocked right now. You all had expectations of the Cubs doing some things this off-season that has a material and it looks more and more like nothing is gonna get done anything major that is what we’re gonna use Tucker so I guess that’s a major we got to give up a whole bunch of talent and prospects for that. i’m gonna save this right now. These are things that we need to talk about so we have not addressed them. We need two more starting pictures. The reason why we need that lead two of them is because we do not know what we are going to get next year in steel. We don’t know if is he gonna be as good as he was before we just don’t know that and we can’t assume that he’s gonna be backed the way he was that is the reason why we need to get two starting pictures and preferably two good ones that doesn’t look like that’s gonna happen. It looks like that ship has Sailed The next thing is what we do about replacing Tucker Carlson that looks like we’re gonna be looking in house so we better hold. The guy who replaced him is as good. I don’t think that’s gonna happen but that’s why it looks right now we did some small things to improve our bowl pen but nothing major nothing drastic nothing that says oh wow look at this. We didn’t go out and get a a big time closer or hope of what we have will do the job third base is a guest with Matt Shaw. We’re hoping that he performs better than he did last year especially when he first came up where we are hoping that he has figured out how to hit in the big lake. We know what he can do defensively but it’s like we’re hoping it’s gonna hit. There’s a lot of ho hoping going on with the Cubs organization right now we are hoping also that PCA is employer he was during the first half of the season and not the second half of the season defensively again he’s lights out he’s great but what type of play is he gonna be offensively? We don’t know it’s we’re hoping again that he’s gonna put together a whole season. There’s a lot of hoping going on here with the cubs organization. The Cubs are a third market team and but they’re not spending like one. I think everyone can agree upon that just by what they’re doing. We don’t know how this is going. Going to play out are in-house solutions third base right field DH may work out but it’s far far far from the guarantee it could easily go the other way varies and if that happens, it could be a very long season the same thing with pitching with the Cubs right now, you don’t know how steel is going to be formed. It could go the other way. It could be a very, very long season for him not knowing he is stressful. if everything works out great cubs gonna win 95 ball games this year if it doesn’t work out, they could end up winning 70 ball games this year that is a huge spread from one to the other finishing in fourth to finishing in first I thought I like what the Pittsburgh Pirates did they made some good moves. Also, I put the Marlins did as well. They made some good moves now these two teams can pull off something. Why couldn’t the Cubs ??? Last year I thought the Cubs over performed. I did not expect them to be as good as you were. Especially after steel got hurt now if I were to have a Christmas wish and something that I would like I can’t remember the name God I forgot to get the third baseman from Boston have Kyle Schwarber as DH we signed Tucker for a long contract. Matt Shaw would be the utility in fielder. There’s a bunch of calls out there we’d sign one of the best ones. we be stacked in the outfield we could p platoon Happ steel will come back better than he was before we signed one more starting pitcher that would be my wish list, but that’s not gonna happen LOL

  4. Yankees’s Imai interest is just Boras wanted to create more competition! To me, Yankees don’t need him right now with Cole Fried Rondon Gile etc. Their priority is offense, especially Cody! And they also don’t have a lot of salary room to fit two big names if no surprises !
They are sitting at 280m right now, last year they have 318m, so I believe they have most 40m to spend! Thats only enough to sign Bellinger plus couple other smaller signings!
The wait right now is Cody wanted 7 year deal! And I believe Yankees prefer 5, but could go to 6!
So if no other team willing to go to 7, he will sign with Yankees. Mets is the only other realistic competitor since Dodgers will definitely not go to 7. Heck, they only want to offer Tucker 5 year.
So now let’s see how aggressive Mets are!

  5. What about Cubs offer Tucker $300 for 10 yrs with opt out after 2nd year and contract end at 5 years (200m) but automatically renew another 5 years 100m or more based on any of these conditions in the first 5 years: Cubs win WS or he win MVP or two times in final 3 of MVP voting and played in 80% of the games!

  6. Let me ask you a question. These daily videos you’re putting out, Imai, Bregman TO Cubs etc…. You got MLB insider info? The wording should be a bit different on the titles. CAN, WOULD, SHOULD are words to describe the Cubs. Not ARE, WILL, GET etc…. I’m just wondering if these clips are your wishlist and trade ideas or are you pulling out info from somewhere legit? Merry Christmas bro!

  7. Let's see.
    1. Should have never got rid of Cody
    2. Lost out on every single Free Agent Closer
    3. Will lose out on Imai with the usual bs, oh we were in it til the end but after a certain$we didn't see the value
    4. Joe Ryan is not up for trade said Twins
    5. Tuck is gone because Tommy Nickles only cares about getting his next billion
    6. With all the soft tossers we have sp and bullpen arms we would be better off entering a softball tournament
    7. Too cheap to even give Keller 2×11
    8. Yeah we're screwed
9.75 win team unless suddenly Steele is better than ever, PCA has a miraculous 40/40 year, Cassie and Moballer win co-rookie of the year and Phil Maton over night morphs into Sandy Koufax.
Factor in that Shota sucks, Boyd is almost certain to regress, and we only have one guy that throws hard- Palencia, yeah we're screwed

Merry freaking Christmas Ricketts enjoy sleeping with your money Scrooge McDuck
