11. You are half right, David. Having an opportunistic defense is important. The Niners have been dropping interceptions earlier this year. Two in the last Rams game. The other half is having a good offense. Purdy's time control drives keeps their offense off the field helping the Niners defense. A side benefit is an improved running game. Since Purdy has been back, CMC is getting about 20 yards rushing more per game.

This is some news the Lions lost today to the Vikings and have been eliminated from the playoffs and the Greenbay Packers have clinched a spot thanks to the Vikings beating the Lions at the Vikings home turf. I do hope that Kittle plays this Sunday night and so does Ricky Pearsall. No new serious injuries again thank goodness and it's cool that Brock purdy was named the NFC player of the week after his great Monday night performance against the Colts.
