If Bears go 2-0…

  1. You can’t make any claims about who we would play if we are the 1 seed. Playoffs are reseeded so that we would play the lowest remaining seed. We would play the lowest seeded winner of seeds 4-7

  2. If the Bears go 2-0 and the Seahawks go 2-0 then it’s likely the Bears play a 7 seeded 49ers team unless the Packers lose one of their last 2

  3. Get the bye.

Bears need it badly to rest up and activate Rome, Burden, and hopefully get Gordon.

  4. If we go 2-0 we will not play the packers if they win out too. Either the Seahawks win vs 49ers and we’re the 2nd seed and packers move up to 6th seed. Or 49ers win vs Seahawks and we’re move up to first seed.

I keep hearing so much about us playing packers but that’s only really likely if either team loses in the coming weeks

  5. 1 doesn’t automatically play the 4/5 in a fixed bracket, it’s 1 vs the lowest remaining seed & the other two vs each other

  6. Actually, I think if the Seahawks got 2-0 and the Bears go 2-0 and the Packers go 2-0 then the Bears play the Niners.

  7. The problem is that 49ers will have nothing to play for week 18 if we beat them and likely sit starters for good portion of the game against Seahawks . We’re counting on the panthers to beat them Sunday.

  8. I don’t care who the fuck they play, just try to win the game in front of ya, all that other shit is out of their hands.. of course FTP

  9. I actually want the Panthers to come out of the nfc south. How crazy would it be if we ended up facing the panthers? Lol. I mean theyre not gonna beat the nfc west team, but still.

  10. I actually think the Packers rest their starters the next two games. They are so beat up. I was thinking they woild go for the wins and a shit at the division but the way the lions played they probably figure we beat the lions.

  11. I want to be done with the packers for the year already. Sick of these rivalry games that just put unnecessary added pressure.

  12. Is sitting our starters for two weeks at the end of the regular season a worse deal than getting a bye (one week) in the playoffs? Sincerely asking from a strategic perspective. I realize anything can happen in the playoffs and a bye is more valuable on a per game basis.

  13. If the Bears win out and Seattle wins out, that means the 49ers lose their last two games, because they play both Bears and Seattle, and they’d finish their season 11-6.

The Packers would only need to win out against a Lamar-less Baltimore and (snort) a Brosmer-led Vikings to snag the 6-seed at 11-5-1.

Seems like the “most likely” tag for a 2-0 2nd seed Bears opponent should be on the 49ers.

  14. I want the pack not from a place of arrogance but if we can 2-1 them this season I think that would sky rocket their confidence.

  15. I’m not gonna lie, if we got the one seed, first round bye, and then lost to the Panthers (if they clinch it) in the second round- it would kill me

  16. I think the funniest outcome is gonna be packers losing, eagles losing giving us the 2 seed and then us losing so all the NFC north games on week 18 are pointless when going into the season we looked like our division would be what the NFC West is now.

  17. I’m just going to sit back and enjoy thefinal two games. I believe Ben will have the team playing hard to win. Whatever happens happens!

  18. Bears will only likely play packers with #2 seed if the pack lose tomm. A pack win tommorow and next week with 2 bears and Seahawks win bears face Sanfran. So they likely play pack is incorrect as with 2 bears and Hawks wins as its more likely pack also do 2-0 and they will finish #6 and avoid bears.

  19. Bears not losing at home 1st rd playoffs….bring pack or niners…pack is more stressful and not good for my heart but they aint beating bears in playoffs in January. Hope its a snow game….
