Bro- he dropped TWO TD passes last night. He’s dropped balls his entire career. a #1 WR doesn’t do that. DO i appreciated his efforts? of course, but lets not think he’s really a #1 Pro Bowl WR.
Sutton is so infuriating to watch because he’ll often make the spectacular catches but struggles with drops on some of the better targets that come his way. It defies logic.
Either way, I’m really happy for Court even though last night wasn’t his best game, and I’m happy to have the guy on the team.
I hate to be that guy but 1k yards is not terribly impressive.
He’s had a great year and he’s a crucial member of this team. But 1k isn’t really something to make a huge deal over outside of a passing acknowledgment.
It’d be a lot more if he’d catch the mf ball (I’m sorry I’m really salty he sold me in my fantasy championship I love Sutton but damn 😞)

It’s why I get mad when people on this sub say we have shit receivers. Sutton is a legit WR1, that makes this group better than at least 7 or 8 other teams. Just because we’re not the Bengals or Rams at WR doesn’t mean we suck and it’s disrespectful to Sutton
If you take Cooper Kupp’s career stats and exclude his one elite season (2021) he basically has the same statline as Courtland Sutton over 8 years.

I think that despite KC being down the depth chart in quarterbacks, they still have Andy Reid and his game plan threw off the offense, but they adjusted to overcome

I love Sutton but we really do need a true game changing #1. I will say, he has a lot of drops but Nix is doing him no favors. Half of those drops would be extremely tough catches bc they are never right in target.
He does drop some easy ones but the drag route last night had crazy zip on it and Bo should have had a little less mustard.
I saw it live. I will also add at least in person Lil’Jordan on the pick looked incredibly open, he just faded up field and didn’t attack for shit, and I also think the DB knew he was slow so he could play off and jump a ball.
He’s always been consistent regardless of the QB throwing, so he definitely gets overlooked
