Mason Rudolph could be playing against Myles Garret if the Ravens lose tomorrow

  1. I know it wont be but if the ravens lose it SHOULD be Howard to start if the games are meaningless. We gain not advantage or insight about the team if rudolph plays.. but tomlin is set in his ways so I fully anticipate Rudolph

  2. I hate the fact they are ready to bench starters. There is inherit risk in every game and having players not play for two weeks to prepare for playoffs is a recipe for 1 and done with this roster

  3. I think Rodger’s is the only one who really has no need to play if not necessary. He’s been here before, and has more playoff experience than anyone else playing on the team. He’d take that time to prepare best for the games that matter most.

  4. I would rather have to beat the ravens in week 18 to make the playoffs then watch Myles get the sack record against us

  5. Personally, I’m for resting key guys if we end up in a position where we can’t move up or down in the playoff seeding. That said, I also don’t think a week of just total rest is what we need either. If week 18 is totally meaningless, let the starters start, but only give them a series or two, something to keep everyone in rhythm. I get there’s a risk to losing key guys with that strategy, but I think keeping the team rolling makes more sense than sitting everyone and potentially ruining the momentum. Granted, every playoff scenario it seems will have us hosting Buffalo in the WC round so it’s probably futile on all fronts

  6. They will rest no one wk17, Cam was pretty insistent on this. If anything we may see Aaron in H1 and Mason H2. Doubt Will takes any snaps at all, maybe against Baltimore in the 4th if were winning

  7. You snooze, you loose. This is a tale as old as time. We cannot afford to rest anyone. Including Rogers. We need to keep pounding away.

  8. I wonder if Arthur Smith has ever seen the ball breaker scene from the original “The Longest Yard”?

  9. I kinda want Mason to lean up near Mild and say something that would generate fight.

Just get him ejected and put off him breaking the sack record or preventing it entirely.

  10. The Howard takes are insane. You actually think with him playing the Browns we’ll find out whether or not to draft a QB next year?!? Good lord people

  11. It doesn’t make much sense to play Mason if you really look at him as your #2. If the Ravens lose, Howard should be starting the final 2 games. Save Mason just in case they manage to make a run in the playoffs and he needs to play.

  12. Mason doesn’t need the reps as he is a first ballot HOF. We can’t risk losing him. Put in Will Howard.

  13. Let’s think about our typical experience watching the Steelers. Do we EVER have nice relaxing games to watch where the team wins going away? … so why are so many of us thinking the easy scenario will happen for the division?

Ravens win, Steelers lose, and we all get to freak out until the game next week.
