The Toronto Raptors fall apart…lose to Wizards after 4th quarter collapse| Post Game Live

The Toronto Raptors are starting to get healthier but will face significant obstacles against the Washington Wizards on Friday night – Barnes and Murray-Boyles will play despite illness, RJ Barrett and Jakob Poeltl remain out.

While this feels like an obvious win against the worst team in the NBA, it’s really a trap game where the Raptors will have to fight hard to secure the W. It’ll take focus, discipline, and a great game from Immanuel Quickley and Brandon Ingram.

  1. Anything that exposes the truth of this team is good. This loss is why I took nothing from them beating the Wiz earlier in the season. The Wizards absolutely folded then. This time, we did. This team is mid, that's fine. We're still 18-14. Lets see how this season plays out, but this isn't the roster we'll be rooting for in the near future.

  2. The most natural leader on the team right now, Jamal Shead, is not yet in a position to have people listen to him when things go badly. This team, as currently constructed, is priced for perfection. They can be competitive against most other teams if everyone is healthy, but as soon as a key player goes out with an injury or an illness goes through the team, there's not enough depth or a strong leader in a strong position to provide stability during these times. I imagine the front office has spent too long in recent years asking "What could go right?" instead of "What could go wrong?".

  3. Trade Scottie to the Spurs or OKC, free this man so he can have a great career and play with some talented players with decent IQ. What Raptors do with the picks and players they get in return, lord knows…I have no faith in this front office or ownership…and at this point little in Darko as well.

  4. So BI is not sharing the ball, too much mids from Bi ….this is not going to win u games . He need to swing and convert some of those auto mids into triple. Do the maths.

  5. I couldn't watch this game past the 1st quarter. Awful game. No energy. What was the point of playing players like Scottie if they had the flu? Should have just played bench lineups.

  6. This team has played bad basketball for the month of December & there is no accountability from any of your leaders, Darko & Scottie. The team is 0-6 in back to backs this month, many of those gms Raps was favored to win. Majority of the losses were by double digits. Tonight you see the lack of preparation & accountability to start the game which unraveled in the 4Q.
