Because he would lowkey be a good backup to Penix as a lefty
All these good journeymen around the league. It would literally be the most falcons thing ever to choose him over all of them.
But I guess it’s the easiest way to reduce chances of a QB controversy next year since both our QBs will be equally cheeks and injury prone
