Easton Freeze confirms that the coaching “shortlists” provided by national reporters lack comprehensive sourcing. Also provides reasoning as to why Brian Flores may not be a current candidate.

  1. While I doubt the national media knows anything,  this is Eastons shtick. He’s a constant contrarian. Wouldn’t take anything he says too seriously. 

    AtoZ is a joke honestly. Really wish TD and PK would team up more often. They’re easily the best two reporters the team has. 

    Wyatt is a pro, but he’s just the teams PR mouthpiece. 

  2. Don’t know specifically what the 2 reasons Freeze is referring to with Flores but I’d imagine that it’d be:

    1) Ray Horton joined Flores’ lawsuit and added the Tennessee Titans as defendants. (Edit – It was Steve Wilks)

    2) Brian Flores pretty publicly hurled allegations at Stephen Ross. And regardless of how you feel about the situation, it’s tough to imagine another owner wanting to risk being in that position.

I feel like most people should know the bit about the poorly sourced coaching lists, but it’s the weirdest thing how so many people have convinced themselves the list is correct because there is a bad name they don’t like so they try to manifest the worst things about our team and FO. it’s like they cheer for us to fail and get off on it. Same shit happened with the GM search, the same people were more than convinced we were gonna make Reggie McKenzie or some other failed candidate our GM or just hire the guy from Green Bay because of Brinker. And oh boy were they wrong, but here we are back to everyone convincing themselves we’re gonna hire Nagy and be a clown show failure
