26. This is where as a coach you have the responsibility to bench them. Make it clear that you don’t care about their numbers, if it affects their numbers because they aren’t showing effort that you have talked about and addressed already then bench them from the second quarter or whenever you feel it’s happening.

    The star players will have to fall in line & realise they NEED to turn up every minute of the game. Effort isnt impacted by length or ability, anyone can give effort. So put them on notice & set the example. Being the bottom 5 guys in & let the starters soak it in that they aren’t playing the rest of that game. Lukas ppg drop significantly. LeBron’s numbers drop significantly. And the other guys will see that and realise no one is above anyone else. You want to win, then practice what we’ve preached in the locker room.
