19. From what I see, this team is going to lose with Joel Embiid. I think they should just take the L (on his contract money) and let him rest for more time (possibly the season) and let the young guys get chemistry and develop more. Best case scenario Joel is back to full health and can “ramp up” when he can actually jump and play defense. Worst case, you have a have a team that’s played together for a whole season come playoff time. Without embiid, I think this Sixers team definitely still makes the playoffs.

22. Maxey, vj, pg, Barlow, Drummond Starting with mccain, Grimes, oubre, Parker, embiid as Bench Players. Justin Edwards comes into the rotation if other players can not hit their shots. Bona comes in for embiid being hurt or you need defensive identity instead of the best scoring bench center ever. The first unit has to many good players to play together with embiid. But playing with the bench and having Grimes and mccain as great c&s players could be very nice

I agree with the fact that Jo Jo did his thing, but the Bulls keyed on him. Barlow should have stayed in to take pressure off of Jo Jo. Ball possession wasn't enough when we are missing shots.     Loss to the Brooklyn Nets?
    Loss to the Bulls?
    It's not that those teams aren't good, it just seems the sixers have a better roster & should be winning. No way Barlow should not have been in the game towards the end last night. They keep running a dribble hand-off/3-Man weave as if our opponents defense will part like the red sea. I look at how fluid the Hawks/Nets/ Bulls offense was & we don't have that same confidence. That is a coaching problem. Although Embiid slows the offense & hurts the defense, he is a difference maker on the floor & the coach should put him in positions to score & not abuse his body the same way Hartenstein (OKC) can get to his spots in the paint for that push-shot. At this point I have no idea why Justin Edwards is still on our roster because I've seen more consistent shooting from Eric Gordon & it's not like our defense is any better when Edwards is in. I like Nick Nurse but I don't think he's the best coach for this team. Tbh I feel like JJ Redick would be better.

40. Starting five with embiid George Maxey edgecombe and Barlow is + 21. They're losing games because the bench is trash and that goes back to injuries/ illness. Same starting five with Grimes replacing Maxey is + 25. That's cuz Maxey came back from a two-game absence and didn't perform well. Does that mean we should get rid of Maxey? Obviously not. What it means is you don't overreact to small sample sizes. What is more noticeable is that these stats come from about 30 minutes of play. So they've not played four games together, they've played 30 minutes together. Maybe they're still finding their stride? They haven't even played 100 possessions together to get stats on a three-man rotation. STOP FALLING FOR CLICKBAIT and give this thing time

41. I wish our players were taller like the roster we had Ben Simmons, Dario Saric, Tobias Harris, Covington, Corey Brewer, Jimmy Butler. We literally cannot hang on defense with other teams.
