Maxx on IR rest of season🏴‍☠️

  1. Now i’m really confused why he was so incredibly mad they decided to shut him down? He legitimately needs a relatively large surgery why did he want to play so bad for literally nothing while risking his health in his prime?

The dude has a true winner mentality at heart I get it but damn man take some rest and do what’s right

  2. Goodbye Maxx, organization in shambles.

Having to medically scrap together things to sideline a player to get the best draft pick + tank is crazy work.

  3. I only hope the understandable frustration Maxx expressed for being sat doesn’t lead to overall discontent and him asking to be traded.

I can understand why Maxx, as an unbelievable competitor, may be disappointed and see a front office more concerned with purposefully not being competitive as opposed to protecting him in another lost season.

  4. Love Maxx, but if he’s gonna need another surgery for the same knee then he really needs to stop this “play every snap” shit or he won’t make it to his age 30 season. He’ll grind himself out of the game.

  5. If you ever wanted to see how the front office can influence “tanking” here it is.

THIS is tanking in the NFL. I mean Crosby should be shut down, keep him as healthy as possible for next season, move on and hope we get a good draft pick.

  6. Well there you have it. So much for the salty “they’re tanking!” Giants fans. His 2nd major surgery in 2 seasons though. Hate that for Maxx. And hate that he’s starting to show signs of wear and tear. He’ll be 29 at the start of next season. We prob only have another 1-2 years tops of Maxx playing at this high of a level. Sucks we haven’t put a decent team around him during his 7-year tenure here smh.

  7. Gotta love Maxx passion and dedication to the franchise. The dude was playing injured but still kicking ass. Hope he was only temporarily upset at the announcement of his benching. I’m more upset that Pete didn’t shut this down sooner.
