  1. Fading further into the background sounds like exactly what she wants to do by letting Brinker run the football ops side of things?

I don’t see what the big deal is here.

Callahan yes fired after only 23 games but also bottom 5 all time record after 23 games so…..yeah.

  2. What I’m about to say is in no way in defense of Amy and I don’t wanna talk about Vrabel at all, that’s boring.

The national media talking about the J-Rob is always so annoying to me. A big reason our roster is dogshit because J-Rob had multiple drafts in a row with some of the worst draft picks in franchise history. He built a good team that competed in the AFC and then failed to keep building on it.

  3. Anyone who faults Amy for firing a “winning gm Jon Robison” does not know what they’re talking about. Motherfucker completely missed on almost every player in 3 straight drafts and made horrible deals in free agency.

  4. Who tf is this jjones9 guy and whats with him posting pointless stories today.. Specifically for this one, all but the Vrabel firing were justified so whats the point in saying all that again. We’re all aware of whats happened here

  5. What a stupid non-story. Any worthy HC candidate would know that JRob, Ran, and Cally sucked ass. However, firing Vrabel is definitely something that will and should haunt Amy and all of the Ran/Cally truthers in this sub.

Amy can only help her case by remaining out of football decisions and delegating them 100% to Brinker and Borgonzi.

  6. Is the AFC source Jared Stillman? 😂 the part about rarely speaking in public or taking questions from independent media sounds like it’s coming from someone who was either formerly employed with us or is part of our media. Like who tf pays attention to that stuff? Also they’re mad that we fired Jrob and Callaghan?? Give me a break, I don’t buy this “source”

  7. The NFL has some kind of resentment of Tennessee. Look even Bud Adam’s her dad original League Founder not in the hall of fame. Who cares what the league thinks anyway. She needs to get it right next coaching hire but who cares what the No Fun League executives think of Amy.

  8. This is why I don’t listen to national coverage with regards to our team: JRob whiffed on multiple drafts, seemingly put all of his chips in for a 2020 SB run (and knew he was screwed judging by his teary-eyed interview after we lost the AFCCG), and traded away one of our best players, replacing him with Treylon Burkes: must have been transfixed by the pretty eyes. Vrabel’s firing was bad in I think most fans minds, mine included, but it didn’t seem like he wanted to be here (reminder to the speech he made in Foxborough). Both caLLahans were terrible and Brian shouldn’t have been hired in the first place (Carthon), Bill was either hamstrung by his son’s coaching style or actually is not the “O-line Jesus” he was touted as (my feeling is Brian’s coaching style was soy-boy-participation-trophy-esque so probably the former)

  9. Dont disagree with any of the firing other than Vrabel. And the league may not like it but as a fan im pretty stoked that she doesn’t stick with something that isn’t working. She’s still paying Ran, Cally, paid Vrabel until this year and pretty sure Jrob as well. Yeah bad hires happen, but sticking with a bad hire is worse than making one. Ran and cally were both generally considered good hires when they were made and both were not, so good, fire them and go next.

  10. Worst take ever. It’s ok to miss on a gm and that gm missed on the coach. I don’t even need to mention jrob. Is anyone he drafted still on the team. Firing Vrabel was the most egregious of these because everyone saw his comeback from a mile away but he didn’t want to be here and his kissass with Kraft was pure cringe. It makes sense why it happened. I hope we get to see Cam hand her a lombardi one day.

  11. There’s only one of these decisions that should be even arguably controversial to anyone.

  12. This is one of the worst articles I’ve ever seen.

First off, John Robinson was terrible. He presided over the worst drafts that we’ve ever seen. second the front office system was not set up by her and that while she didn’t correct it, it was set up by her sorry ass father.

She’s not good at all, but the facts in this article are terrible

  13. idk if this true cause I don’t 100% believe Sharm on their own but who cares. I think she made the right choice to fire Vrabel, the right choice to fire Robinson, the right choice to fire carthon, and the right choice to hire and fire Callahan.

Hiring Carthon is her biggest mistake from what I understand about his tenure, but I don’t think hiring Callahan was a bad choice given the information we had at the time

  14. I knew this tweet was shit when they said “winning GM” and “J Rob” in the same sentence. If you think moving on from J Rob was ill-advised, ya’ll need some therapy.

  15. If people are actually giving her shit for firing Robinson, they must have been in a coma from 2020 to 2023

  16. Not even a titans fan, but Jon Robinson is who set everything else up for failure. She fired him too late and that’s why the team was terrible under Vrabel for the last couple years. Patience with Robinson is what killed the momentum Vrabel built.

  17. I get people being upset at the Vrabel firing even if I personally didn’t mind it. The other three are perfectly understandable moves and I don’t really think any are objectionable.
