I’m all for Mitchell slander, but Kenyon is the epitome of a meathead when it comes to basketball discourse.
Dude’s most meaningful minutes came from being guided by one of the greatest pgs in history. Taking any basketball information from that guy is basketball malpractice unless you are trying to be a roll man on your basketball team.
I mean it is true though. I’d say he’s on par with guys like those
This is facts unfortunately. It doesn’t mean he’s a bad player overall but he definitely does not make his teammates better
100 percent agree. Its why I believe we will never win one with him..he hero balls alot (not arguing that he doesnt have to cause he does) but his style of play makes everyone watch him and the opposing defenses willing to let him score.
Hes right. Really skilled scorer and solid defender but he can be a black hole at times. Dont get me wrong , some times that is needed, but our offense loses all rhythm.
Kinda exactly like K martin lol
Mitchell is not the problem, y’all. He’s regressed, but everyone else is letting him down with rock bottom effort on both ends.
Another reason why we’ll look at the Mitchell trade as one of the biggest mistakes in franchise history as the years go bye. We traded so much for a dude that doesn’t elevate those around him….
like…what the fuck was the point of that? All it showed was impatience on our part.
Just a lazy take.
Don’s biggest fault is his height. He’s supremely offensively gifted but he CAN be schemed against when his shot isn’t falling and taken out of games in the playoffs. I realize that only a handful of players in the nba are truly “unstoppable” and Don can be borderline at times but that’s not good enough to be a number one on a chip. He his playmaking is also only average. He’s a #2 or maybe 1B on a championship level team.
Agree, I think people want to get their hopes up that this team can get to championship level but with no true number 1, we’ll probably never be there. Just wait until the next cycle of things happens.
