Imagine JB keeps on doing what he is doing all season long while having JT occupying the Jordan Walsh spot as a starter. JT giving the team a minimum of 16-6-5 a night is an extreme premium. DWhite and PP will be more comfortable and will not be tasked to be the main ball handlers. If JT is ready, I cannot wait for him to return. Banner 19 is not that distant for this season.

  1. I agree. The question is would Tatum willingly adjust to this role? Especially given his affinity for Kobe and all that comes with it

  2. It will only work against teams that have guards and wings that don’t guard like the Lakers. Tatum’s gonna be the 1st option if we face OKC since Lu Dirt’s gonna do Zaza manouevres JB

  3. Banner 19 is very distant as long as our big man rotation consists of only Queta and Garza

  4. JT has excelled in every role the team has asked him to play, starting from a spot up shooter in his rookie season

I think the current iteration of JB would have won vs Knicks, and vs Miami in the playoffs when JT went down. That’s the biggest difference

  5. Tatum is going to do whatever is needed for the Celtics to win and he’s going to do it at a ridiculously high level because that’s what he does.

  6. (I love Jordan Walsh) but did you just insinuate a perennial all nba first team player and franchise cornerstone should play…the Jordan Walsh role?
