  2. What’s the benefit for trading ad? do you need capspace around a young cooper? AD is a great center to pair with coop and you don’t have a pick next year anyway so you want to compete. and Lively and AD can share streetclothes

  3. I would also trade AD to the Spurs for Vessell, Barnes, Sochan and their two second round picks this year. The centerpiece of this is Devin Vessell.

    This isn’t an even deal in terms of talent but our roster gets younger and more balanced and Vessell is on a very manageable contract. This makes us a better team over the next 3-4 years and calibrates us more to Flagg.

  4. The Bulls are not an option because they suck. The Pistons are not an option because what they really need are floor spacers and play makers and AD at his best doesn’t solve those problems. And the Raptors are not an option because they don’t have any expiring contracts to offer, don’t have young players we want.

  13. I'm not opposed to trading AD but you need a contributing piece for next year or you don't trade him. Why all these Mavs fans lying to themselves acting like they're cool with lesser talent around Cooper. We're going to trade AD and get the worser player and people going to be cool with that cuz they sure were cool with that when we did that with Luka

    I don't really care who we get the 1st round draft pick from because the draft is a crapshoot. Besides the 1st overall pick and like the 3rd, those are more likely to pan out to at least be allstar. The rest of the draft class is where sometimes it matters to be higher in the draft order, but really what's important is, YOU. GOT. TO. KNOW. HOW. TO. DRAFT!

    Example.

    The Spurs last 2 top 4 draft pick, Castle and Harper

    The Rockets last 4 top 4 draft picks, Reed, Thompson, Jabari, Jalen Green.

    I'd say the Spurs picked better than Houston did and Houston had more high draft picks

  19. Why would anyone want to trade for AD? Severely injury prone, due for a massive extension and doesn’t want to play center. You’re not getting anything even close to Luka’s value

  25. People gassing up that Pels pick. As Mavs fans you should know better than most that lottery odds are useless. I truly hope Matt Ricarrdi is not a Nico disciple and stupidly trades AD for that pick alone. Give me quantity. I like to think that a trade hasn’t gone down because the Hawks keep dangling this Pels pick thinking that should be enough, meanwhile our front office dgaf about the Pels pick and are asking for multiple ATL picks.
