I am positive it all started when we kicked Jokic out. Jokic has a massive European following, so when we sent him packing, all his fans acted like Ronaldo fans when Messi’s Barcelona would beat them. Then we were the bad guys in Indiana’s cinderella run, which only amplified it, especially when we won.
But fuck it. If we’re gonna be the NBA’s new heel, I’m going all in like I did when the Patriots were the NFL’s evil empire.
