i wanted to lose, but i do like watching our players play well
To be fair, this is down to the Raiders being truly horrendous more than anything else. Sure, it would have been nice to have the #1 pick but the Raiders deserve it.
I think more that this raiders team is somehow even worse than our team. Legit no pieces besides the two guys that are hurt and jeanty.
Raiders basically rested two of their best players in Crosby and Bowers. Its like if the giants equivalent of resting Robinson and Burns. They out tanked us.
Should have started Wilson
These moral victories have crippled the Giants for half a decade. That number 1 pick could’ve been traded for a ton of pieces to help accelerate the rebuild around Dart. Now we have to trust the team can build a competent front office in time to make a good pick.
To be fair, we would’ve fucked up the draft pick anyways.
It’s ok we’ll be back next year. Weve been here many times over the past decade, nothing new or unusual

Giants should be 5-11 realistically. Team hasn’t won since October.
Trading back should still be the priority to get assets. This team has talent but just needs to right coaching in place to maximize it

I still don’t see any reason to care. We have our QB, and even if we didn’t, this isn’t an Elway or Luck type of draft with a clear cut #1. If ever there’s a year to let the top pick slip through our fingers and be fine, it’s this one.
The Raiders are absolutely awful. They “earned” this.
Same shit last year, I expected no different.

What a joke of a game no way Pete Carroll was going to give up the 1st draft pick for a franchise QB.
Players will always play to win. I’m not mad at them at all. This is their livelihood, and at the very least, they need to put some good tape together for a future contract.
Blame the management for putting us in a situation where a loss would be better.
Just got back to my hotel from the game and yes, the RAIDER NATION IS TRULY DESPONDENT BUT GRACIOUS…one of the best game experiences I’ve ever had from parking to fan base. Thier future is bright with JEANTY AND BOWERS but really ac no go today, they need MENDOZA we do not,all day long black jerseys chanting “LETS GO GIANTS!”
They gonna lose to the CHEFS next week and we gonna lose to the COWGIRLS so it evens out and is a moot point

As a jets fan thank you for winning. So many jets fans wanted us to trade like 4 picks for your first and I didnt want that at all. Getting the first pick is less than a guarantee of anything. I’d rather have the extra 4 picks!
