DeMeco Ryans Deserves WAY More Credit for This Texans Turnaround

The Houston Texans are headed to the playoffs — for the third straight season, a first in franchise history — after a gritty 20–16 win over the Chargers at SoFi Stadium.
After starting the season 0–3, DeMeco Ryans has led one of the most impressive turnarounds in the NFL, winning 11 of the last 13 games and guiding the Texans back into the postseason conversation. It wasn’t always pretty against Los Angeles, but playoff teams find ways to win — and that’s exactly what Houston did.
In this episode, we break down:
What the Texans’ win over the Chargers really tells us
Why DeMeco Ryans deserves serious praise for this season
How Houston’s defense continues to dominate quarterbacks
Whether the Texans are becoming one of the most dangerous teams in the AFC
And why “ugly wins” matter heading into the playoffs
With another postseason appearance secured and momentum on their side, the Texans are peaking at the right time. Is this defense good enough to carry them on a deep playoff run?

  1. Joe sounds like the hating texans fan we have! The ones saying Cj ain"t the guy and blah blah blah. ALWAYS with NEGATIVITY instead of being happy where we are now! People seem Happier when we were ASS! with that said LFG TEXANS and if we win it all you're gonna see them cheering and saying we knew we would and balh blah blah. JEREMY is Hitting the nail on the head and thanks for not being salty and NEGATIVE!!!!!!!

  2. Think Joe Flacco's Ravens, hell the 2000 Ravens, the defenses were so good they dragged substandard offenses to championships I believe in them because this type of team comes along every 10/15 years and gets a championship
