  1. gonna be hillarious when Maxx forces his way out and Mendoza turns out to be a bust.. I can already see the writing on the wall. The football gods will not look kindly to this situation .

  2. Draft Mendoza and let him sit behind Geno until he is ready no rush , yall ain’t going anywhere soon anyways . By time they get relevant Pete will be hitting 80 years old 😂

  3. Believe me, Raider Nation, don’t expect any miracles in the Win/Loss column from a rookie QB without us first addressing the O-line (among many other areas on the team).

If Geno Smith (a multiple Pro-Bowl QB who’s seen it all in the NFL) couldn’t ever find any rhythm or consistency, what makes us believe a rookie QB will fare any better in year 1–especially if we have a new coaching staff and system changes?

All things equal, we will still see a veteran QB playing for us next year until we build an O-line capable of optimizing the production of the talent we have (and will have) next season that is priority #1 in setting up a strong enough foundation for a rookie QB to be successful when his time comes to get significant snaps and start (assuming the obvious—we still pick one if we secure the 1st overall pick).

  4. The Raiders need to draft offensive linemen. It doesn’t matter who their QB is if you can’t block for him then you’re wasting your time. Get the O-Line fixed then go get your QB

  5. To people in the chat👂. You need an offensive line before you draft a qb. When a team is loosing the coach is going to throw the rookie qb in to save their job. This qb will get smashed. 😢

  6. Incredible to me how stupid these two are. And a lot of my fellow raider fans

Mendoza is a product of what cignetti put all around him. What he looks like at indiana is NOT what he will look like on our very limited football team

Go watch Mendoza film from CAL, where he was surrounded by middle of the road talent. Not great

Raiders neeed to build out EVERYTHING before we start thinking about our future QB

You could’ve put 30 or 40 other D1 QBs on that indiana team and it would be that guy that the “experts” would dub the number 1 guy

  7. The Raiders have needed an O Line for at least 8 years and not one regime has addressed it with any amount of competence or seriousness.. They keep trying to bargain shop in free agency and then their scouts cant see talent coming out of college. They briing in bargain basement QB's and put them behind some of the most incompetent O Lines and expect them to perform at a high level. The RAIDERS should fire their whole scouting department and bring in people who can identify real talent.

  8. I think the Raiders will make a financial decision in the draft by drafting Diego Pavia. The Raiders have a huge Mexican-American following thanks to Tom Flores and Jim Plunkett many years ago. If Pavia is just good enough, he will still sell a lot merchandise for the team. If he is better than expected, it will be a big bonus.

  9. I work at the University of California as a chef in the athletic department so we feed all of the student athletes been to every game that Mendoza has played with Cal Barkley to be honest he’s not that good to me. I never seen a first overall pick in him.

  10. Raiders have the 2nd most cap space in 2026, the O-Line will be top priority. As dog shit as the Raiders have been for the last 25 years they’ve only picked 1st overall once in team history. Gotta swing big on a QB!!!
