KEVIN STEFANSKI FIRING FROM BROWNS IMMINENT??? – The Daily Grossi

The Browns appear to be on the verge of making some major changes within their organization. Our own Tony Grossi is here to break down what’s going to happen with Kevin Stefanski and what it all means for Shedeur Sanders.

  1. Hey Tony, have you ever given a thought that the qb room was put together backwards. The browns had to have known ahead of time that sanders was going to fall

  2. Grossi is so worried about a better draft pick. He is not thinking about the REST of the things The Browns need. Each week he likes a different QB. I'm not losing for the sake of a better pick. What a loser mentality. ClevelandTillTheCasketDrops

  3. QB room – Sanders, Watson, Dylan.. thats officially QB hell. Sheduer hasn't shown anything like Dart. Shrough, and Ward in terms of upside. Hes played the best out of everyone but he still hasn't shown qualities that you want to commit to. Look at his advanced stats, they're awful.

  4. I think Dillon and Shedeur will push each other next season i think not having them compete stunted both of them growing. I think with a restart both youngsters will grow just because they’re rookies and will push each other. The media divide them outside and put to much pressure on Dillon with that silly “Super Computer” BS, no one can live up to that expectation especially as a rookie!

  5. What hurting Eli is Jim Plunkett. He had a similar career where he was OK then pulled of 2 SB victories. He never got in. What will get Eli in is the 2 wins are over Brady and he stopped the undefeated season.

  6. Keep kevin, dont overthink this. Most success for the browns in decades. Kevin is a ceo type head coach. Let him be that. Tommy rees will be a great OC and develop this offense. We need the stability.

  7. Always "drama" in Cleveland. That's why y'all can't win much. Long term consistency — something completely absent from Cleveland since the days after Paul Brown was fired — is the gold standard in the NFL. Cleveland would rather spend their time with "theories" and "tea leaves" about hirings and firings of coaches. Sad.

  8. Drafting a new QB top 1-2 has multiple downsides:

    (1) hurts Cleveland’s 2026 draft overall by costing 2 first rounders + maybe a 3rd or a 2027 pick, and since they need 5 new o-lineman and 3-4 new receivers that’s devastating

    (2) limits the salary cap, as a #1 or 2 pick earns $45-48M over 4 years, so average of $12M taken out of the cap; and that $12M would pay for a better starting o-lineman or a #2 wide receiver

    (3) go from a know in Sheduer Sanders, strengths, weaknesses, areas he has improved, etc. to a complete unknown w/r/t how they look against NFL talent

    (4) 8 months to work w/ Sanders to worth w/ and improve from January to September vs. 4 months to work w/ new rookie.

  9. Well look at Steve Young, Peyton Manning and Troy Aikmans Rookie years they were worse and all Hall of Famers. I am starting to wonder if the new era of men and women are all emotions and little intellect. Sanders did not get first team repsmost of the year, yet has highest completion percentage in the history of College football. He has potential to be a top 5-10 quarterback with a line , coaching and Receivers. He will be good enough to win a superbowl Trent Dilfer (Ravens), Jim Plunkett (Raiders), Jeff Hostetler (Giants), and Nick Foles (Eagles) won superbowls.its a team game that requires more than just a quarterback.Dan marino never won a superbowl yet look at how many weaker quarterbacks did

  10. Berry AND Stefanski need to go. They both responsible for the mess they both created. Winning is the bottom line. 44-56 over 6 years ain't cutting it. 7 wins in the last 2 years doesnt seem to be any improvement.

  11. Tony don’t forget you were the biggest Dillion advocate. Funny now mention Dillion as third string qb you roll your eyes. You are entertaining. I been yelling at you since Ota’s when you said Gabriel was more talented than SS. After months You are fun Tony. Funny in a good way. You like your man you stood behind him.

  12. If I ran the browns. If they fire Stefanski. I would make Schwartz the HC Tommy the OC. Berry and testesco upper management. Find top tier oline coach. I would take the top wr in the draft at 6-7 in first round. Take top tackle with the other first round pick. Go and bring in a veteran high quality wr. I would trade jeudy. Keep the qb room intact. SS, Watson, Gabriel. Add some depth on Defense. Easy!!!!! From oline standpoint I would mirror what Chicago did last year from an Oline standpoint. Question is it scream or talent in Chicago. Kaleb Williams went from a bust to top qb. With a quality oline the same can happen for SS.

  13. I agree with you Tony it should be an open competition. I think SS having to work his way up made him better. I think an open competition is going to bring out the best in these qb. There no college qb at the level of the qb room right now. Competition is going to accelerate the talent level.

  14. I believe it was a money thing. U already n the hole fr 240m if u take a QB like 12 1st rd. Thts even more money. So get him late let him grow n then save ur self some money to get back n get better pieces. Specially if 12 show he’s the guy
