McCabe is the latest Maple Leaf, but a Marlie did make Team Canada is 2022 (Ho-Sang).
At first I was like āarenāt you forgetting Marner?ā Then I remembered and was like āoh yeah šā
Obviously you can’t include 2018 or 2022, so 2010 and 2014 are the only years to judge. And when your best players during those years are Kessel and Phaneuf, don’t expect Olympic selections.
People also, I think miss that it was only 2010 and 2014 Leafs that didn’t make it. Phaneuf was pretty much it.
Please bring those socks back for the team.

Ooh, this was the Olympics where Sweden allegedly threw a game against Slovakia to avoid facing Canada in the quarterfinals.
Although I donāt think there was ever any concrete proof, just Peter Foresberg putting his foot in his mouth and then having to backtrack on his statements.
