1994 Chicago White Sox opening day lineup 11 comments Should have won the pennant that year … man why you gotta break my heart? Why does the Frank Thomas card look like a giant Big Hurt is scaring a smaller one? 😂 I still have a hat my dad got at the park the day they clinched the playoffs that never were. Such a shame. Man we were so good that year too Boy, designers in 1994 were just like “Legibility? Pshaw!” Opened the year with an L against the defending champ Blue Jays on our way to a 67-46 1st place finish. The 7-9 hitters went 6-12 with all 3 rbis. Black Jack was on the bump and went 7 innings. I remember the strike year well. Such a disappointment. Going to try to name them without looking, then will check myself Jack McDowell Ron Karkovic Frank Joey Cora Ozzie Robin Ventura Tim Raines Lance Johnson (Can’t remember RF!) Baines? DH: Julio Franco What a wasted opportunity that was. Thanks Jerry. Team that made me a fan This era is why I’m a White Sox fan. Leave a ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
