Can anyone tell me about these? Not a clue what I have but was hoping to sell eventually.

  1. The Posey jersey with the gold lettering was the same style the players wore when they received their World Series rings.

The Pence one looks like a replica jersey they sold throughout 2015. The World Series patch was on all of the jerseys sold that year

  2. The first one is the 2010 ring ceremony jersey. I believe they wore it for one game (the ring ceremony game in 2011), and sold it for a limited time, so you might be able to get something for it. The second one is just a normal home jersey that looks like it was from around 2015 based on the patch. Probably not worth too much, but you never know.

  3. The one in gold looks to be a Buster Posey jersey they’d have worn on Opening Day at home in 2011 to commemorate the 2010 World Series championship…problem is I can’t recall if that was a thing teams were doing yet in 2011, and the “G” and “S” in the logo don’t look right (I could be wrong on both counts). If I’m right, it’s likely a knock off of some kind.

Second one is a Hunter Pence 2014 World Series Champions replica commemorative jersey. I don’t think it’s a version worn on the field because they wore a gold commemorative jersey (like in your first photos). I believe jerseys like that are just repurposed jerseys for sale during the World Series that didn’t sell, so they add a patch under the World Series patch that says “Champions” so they can sell them as a championship jersey after.

  4. Artifacts from when the Giants weren’t afraid to spend money and field competitive teams.

  5. Hi. I collect jerseys. that gold one is a really poor fake. The second one is legit.

  6. Thanks all. Any suggestions on what to sell the lot for? Shame not real but maybe someone will appreciate regardless.

  7. The first one is a fake.

The second one is a women’s replica that was officially sold online or at the Giants Dugout Store

  8. The fake Posey one is not going to sell for much, and you would want to disclose it’s not real. eBay is a weird place for fakes with their counterfeit policies but lack of enforcement in my experience.

The Pence looks to be a women’s cut, and would probably get $20-$35 on eBay prior to fees and shipping.
