2. How would you feel about the bulls emerging as a team that supplies picks and expiring contracts in an AD for Trae Young swap:
   Bulls would take on Martin's 3 year 9m in return for swapping Vuc or Collins expiring for Gafford, they also buy low on Risacher swapping Kennard's expiring 11m for Huerter's expiring 18m to the Hawks. Sell low on Okoro to the mavs so they don't have to give up too many 1sts
   Hawks would land AD, Huerter, and DLo with some draft capital in exchange for the buy low for Risacher
   Mavs would acquire Trae and Okoro plus a first from ATL and the Portland pick via the Bulls plus an expiring contract in Vuc/Collins

   It facilitates a trade the Hawks and Mavs have reported interest in doing (and reportedly are looking for an outside team to take on contracts in exchange for expiring contracts). Gafford is an athletic center that can actually run with the bulls and catch lobs. Risacher is an impactful defender shooting 35% on 8 3PA, he could be a good young player to buy low on. This of course requires the Mavs and Hawks to actually value the AD for Trae trade because the contract moving and picks are not that much, but that's the only way the bulls don't get gouged in this deal. I highly doubt the Mavs like it that much because a Trae-Kyrie backcourt isn't exactly the best path forward around Coop.

3. Even if the bulls try their best they will lose and that’ll ultimately lead to us falling out of the play in thankfully. As long as we develop matas this season I’m okay with that

16. Hey I love your content & typical agree with most of your takes but I have to disagree this time …. Tanking will help this team but tbh we’re going to lose a lot of games whether we tank intentionally or not .. with Giddey & Coby healthy we still were on a path to being the 11th seed

    With this draft being deeper than most there are players 1-8 that could really help this team … tanking doesn’t necessarily have to be let’s try to get to the worst record but we can def lose enough to get to the 7th or 8th worst record & take our chances at the lottery

    I think I speak for a lot of ppl when I say I’d rather take those odds over another play in exit any day

17. this season is an adjustment season, it's a write-off. we need to trade these expiring deals, especially Vooch, Huerter, Coby White. re-sign Ayo and maybe Zach Collins if we can get him on a team-friendly deal (though he is already 28 and a bit older than the younger core).

25. It's a very simple exercise that pro-tankers refuse to perform: Go back over the last 20 years of drafts, find the best player from that draft class, and write down their draft positions. Perhaps you can even average them out.

    This idea of "direction" is a furphy, a fugazi.

33. See this is what I mean when I say this fanbase loves mediocrity. For one, losing in general helps you get a higher draft position period. Its not about winning the lottery. Second, we are only 5 games ahead of the the 5th worst team, improving draft position significantly is still possible. Last but not least you said there are more ways to improve without tanking, we are “committed” to winning and building winning habits?? You made this statement plenty of times but that is misleading the fans of Chicago bulls in particular. Outside of that October 2021-January 2022 stretch we’ve been a losing team, not building winning habits, and NOT making moves to show that we are “committed” to winning. Our losses speak more volumes then are Ws. We beat the Cavs without Mobley, Hawks WITH Trae Young who they only won two games with this season. If you’re gonna oppose the tank you need to be banging the table for the FO to make moves. Good moves at that. 1/4 of this team will be free agents this summer and most of them are heavy contributors. Stop saying the bulls are building winning habits they are buying time. 34. Look at those last 2 previous teams that won the #1 overall pick which was dallas 33-49 and hawks 36-46, both won over 30 games and play-in teams. AKME can't be trusted if they have the number 1 overall pick.
