5. What good does it do a team that is rebuilding to give up multiple firsts for a veteran QB. Also a veteran QB nearing 30 coming off an injury riddled season. He's also never won a Superbowl. He has spectacular regular seasons and then meets teams in the playoffs that can gameplan against him. Mendoza is young and talented and we give up nothing to draft him. Don't do what we always do, just draft a star and build around them for once.

21. Since 2018, 7 QBs have been drafted #1. Which one of them is better than Lamar? Drafting is a crapshoot, I'd rather go with the guy I know can play in the NFL. Lamar is 28 y/o, which means he has a solid 5 years before he starts to slow down.

33. No I do not want a shot at getting Lamar. Think about it for a sec Mitch. Why would one of the smartest franchises in the league even consider giving up on a guy thats won them a ton of games and 2 MVPs to boot? I get the feeling that their top men know firsthand that he can't match up eye to eye with the conference's elite QBs when the stakes are at their highest. The only way I'd even consider such a deal is to make sure Jackson would be aided by a legit top 5 D cause when times get tough you can bet his ass is gonna need some bailing. If the Brady bunch do make such a move then they better understand that a top notch D will be a necessity if the ultimate goal is to land a Lombardi or why else go through the trouble of landing such a big fish. I'd rather get me one of the young QBs on a cheap contract and build both the trenches hoping that this QB wouldn't shirk the big challenges like Lamar has done in the past. But I am sure you cannot deny that the Ravens must be wanting to get out of the Lamar business for a reason and I am not sure we need to be as delusional with Lamar's shortcomings as Ole Pete was in thinking he could get blood out of stone from a threadbare roster. I hope we learned from this waste of season.
