Dean wade is preparing to be moved by the deadline

1. No clue what kind of credibility this has, but yes please. Dean is an NBA player, but his best fit is as a rotation player on a non contender. He just isnt good enough to be in a playoff rotation.

2. That would stink, but they need more cost-controlled options going forward so I get it.

   I really liked DaRon Homes during the draft, and he’s finally recovered from his injury. If they could swap Wade for him and maybe throw in a 2nd rounder or two for sweetener I would be okay with that outcome.

   It would give them another option at PF, but they’ll need Strus back to fill in the wing spot Wade has been playing lately.

3. In theory im all for dean wade getting traded. In practicality, who are they gonna find who is as good for $6 million? Unless they think he will sign for higher after his contract is up, dunno. There have been games this season where Wade was by far the best defender on the floor

4. This would be terrible for our team. He’s a key role player imo and a top defender on our team.

The big thing is that Dean’s contract isn’t really that big to bring in another valuable guy and if you want to pair him with a guy like Ball, then it means you’re gonna have to move one of Strus/Hunter (for a guy who gets paid pennies or moving them for basically nothing) in order to get under the second apron. I still have a lot of trust in the FO so they probably got a few things under their sleeve they can pull but I could see moving Dean to a team for a number of seconds or a protected first.

7. This is dumb. We’d need to match salaries exactly to make any trades. No way this is real.
