Rueben Bain GOES CRAZY in Showcase for Tennessee Titans FIRST ROUND Pick & Carnell Tate Disappoints

The Tennessee Titans got a showcase from some of the top prospects in the NFL Draft during the second round of the college football playoff including a dominant performance from Miami’s Rueben Bain and a disappointing one from Ohio State’s Carnell Tate. This should inform how we rank those players and Tyler gives his early “top pick” draft board. As the Titans take on the Jacksonville Jaguars to finish their season and the key for the Titans is to stay healthy. That is more important than a victory as they enter a critical offseason for the franchise. Finally, the Titans are currently slated to have the fourth pick in the NFL Draft and that should hold depending on results around the league, but the Titans could also use some help from the Baltimore Ravens to improve a Day 3 pick.

  4. yeah Rueben Bain was a guy who stuck out to me last year when watching Miami. I was like "Miami's defense is trash but that Bain guy looks pretty good." Dude has been dominating all season. Was constantly in the backfield yesterday. I don't know what his NFL future looks like, I hear people talking about arm length or whatnot, but you can't deny the results on the field

  8. Give me Bain or Tyson or Reese in that order at 4.
    Bain is just a beast, line him up anywhere inside, outside doesnt matter. Imagine on passing downs, Sweet, Simmons, Bain inside. Kind of remind me of when the Titans had Denico Autry who could line up all over the line.

    Jordyn Tyson is WR1 talent. Hes big, fast, great route runner and good after the catch. Injury history is all unrelated in my opnion, did his knee in 2022 (which will be goimg on 4 years ago by the time the 2026 nfl season begins)
    Broken collar bone in 2024 which caused him to miss cf playoffs but its a collerbone, thats not going to effect his play going foward.
    And this year hamstring injuries, which can happen to anyone at anytime caused him to miss games this year. Not worried about that.

    Remember Carnell Tate dealt with a injury this year that caused him to miss 3 games this year, he and the team wouldnt specify what the injury was but it almost certainly was hamstring related. If you are worried about Tysons hamstring why not Tates.

    Tate to me profiles as a good number 2 in the nfl, he is big, great hands and a good deep ball threat but is kind of slow, a little stiff in his routes and has a very thin build. He also has the benefit of defenses sliding all their attention to Jeremiah Smith on the other side of the field.

    If we end up with Tate I wouldnt be mad as he would be a huge upgrade for the titans wr room, just think he would be a reach at 4 while Tyson has legit top 10 wr in the nfl one day talent imo.

  9. top 10 will be mostly defensive players if u ignore the qbs…. same as the HC candidates, mostly defensive minds. so just take the the best guy, regardless of the side of the ball.

Draft should be Bains to pair with Jeff and Sweat with first pick then 2nd round should best available man to man CB.. Then receiver….or even ANOTHER CORNER A pressure front can make even a,n average corner look good.

  24. I agree about Carnell. Doesn’t do much for me. I tell you I really like Bains partner Mesadore as well. Not sure if he’s draft eligible. I’m not really feeling Reese, don’t like taking a LB high, I know what about Micah? Seen too many high LB busts chosen high to chance it. Rather take Love over Reese if I had that choice. I do like the WR from Miami in the lower rounds #7 but don’t draft a high WR in this draft, next years draft for Wr is a banger!! Wait for that titans brass👀 Look forward to more draft talk.
