  1. I’m checking every single,e day…. Elias didn’t come this far to quit…. If we can land one if the “Big 3” and move Mountcastle for someone serviceable then we clearly are back in contention. I also believe this goes hand in hand with what Gunnar said during this past season about what it will take to keep him and he made it clear he wants to win above everything else.

  2. Kyle Braddish has #1 stuff. I was saying this before he got hurt, he was stringing together some real quality pitching…..absolutely devastated when he got injured. He was on his way to being our clear #1.

  3. What was really holding Suarez and Valdez was the stupid deal that Toronto gave to Cease. Now after the King deal and this one, those two should come down to earth. A 4 or 5-year deal deal now should suffice.

  4. I don’t understand why you say Framber is the risky move. Dude has been so consistent year in and year out. He had one disagreement with a teammate and he is now labeled as difficult, I don’t see it that way. Three sides to every story there. For me Ranger is the riskiest move. If he loses any velocity at all he could be just an average pitcher who tops out at 91.

  5. Ryan – how come MLB GMs have let agents drag this FA signings so long. It’s so boring and ridiculous. Everyone in baseball hates to hear it, but the NFL gets it! Their FA is a Frenzy bc teams say they will move on to other players with their money. Players get their $$ bag, some hold out for more….but overall it’s a “lets get this done before teams move on mindset!”
The NFL once again makes it entertaining. They get it! MLB sits being held hostage by guys like Boras. It’s a shame
So slow and boring…no entertainment for fans at all!

  6. How worried are we about framber being a clubhouse issue? I like his reliability. Not a fan of ranger tbh. Almost rather roll the dice with what we have this year and get active in sp market next offseason
