12. If it ends up being a 1-year deal it will be for $21M and not $18M. Imai gets a $3M bonus if he pitches 100 innings. If Imai opts out it's almost a guarantee he pitches at least 100 innings. Not many starters would opt out of that contract and expect to be paid more if they couldn't even pitch 100 innings.

26. This is great news for the Dodgers. It was the Blue Jays or Phillies that the Dodgers didn’t want him going to. The Astros haven’t been that good for a few years now.

27. By his signing with an AL team taking down the Dodgers can't be a priority for him as he will pitch a maximum of one game against the Dodgers each season unless the teams meet in the World Series.
