  1. And thanks to Brad wasting 2 years in the draft we aint gonna be back for a hot minute

  2. The mood deflation in my basement was excruciating enough with just ~5 people. I can’t imagine being in this environment for the second half of that game. Brutal

  3. I’m so glad Dan went for it multiple times instead of taking those stupid 3 point field goals. I mean what are field goals and points even good for?

  4. Ffffuuuuuuuuu. I was on the 50 like 10 rows up, having the best time of my life, random guy behind us tells his buddy “we just have to survive the 3rd”.

  5. I don’t want to remember this day. I long to forget. This is the epitome of a lifetime of Lions fandom; a fumble on the goal line. I refuse to remember this as the closest we ever got.

  6. That game is what angers me so much about this season. They blew it and may not get another chance

  7. Honestly I was happy to see the Lions win not just one but two playoff games that season and make it to the final four along with the two 1 seeds and the defending super bowl champions. Making it that close was more than I could’ve imagined

  8. We almost had it. Then the following season we go 15-2, number 1 seed. 1 and out to the fucking Commanders. Now we miss the playoffs entirely 🥴

  9. I’m not fond of the all or nothing mentality. We ATE that season and there were many amazing victories and great memories. Don’t let it be tarnished just because they didn’t make the super bowl. It’ll come back. Survive until it does!

  10. I sick of people posting this shit. Post this shit after a season when were 3-13 fired our head coach, our roster is shit and we have no quarterback. People posting about 2023 like it’s impossible that we’ll ever get that far again when we still have that core roster and the most competent front office in Lions history are delusional

  11. I was watching this game in a VC with some friends on Discord. Only two of us were Michiganders and die hard Lions fans. That night, every single person in VC except for one (who has family from the SF area) was cheering for Detroit. And I was the most emotional after it all. The mood changed so much in the second half of the game.
