I don't know why the Cards want to get rid of JJ Romero? They could really use him, especially because he is a needed lefty and could be an occasional fill in closer.
Not that I'd be counting on this, but Pages did alter his swing and hit better towards the end of the season.
I think Crooks needs to catch more than 30 games. He's talented. I could see in a year, Bernal and Crooks as the catchers. Manuel is still 2 or 3 years away.😅

My shocking prediction is that the Cardinals will not lose more games in 2026 compared to 2025. I think they will (surprisingly) be better with 60% dead weight out of the rotation.
