1. Bellinger is a fit, but Bo is interesting if other moves are made. If George were alive, the Yankees would have Belli, Tucker, and Bo in Free Agency.

19. Have to think when this is all said and done, Bellinger returns. The Yankees need him and his market is not deep or he would be elsewhere by now. Tucker never has been a serious option and all this Bichette talk is probably an agent's attempt to get Toronto's attention. Bichette would be a nice offensive addition but he's one dimensional and doesn't fortify the defense. Bellinger's ability to play all three outfield positions is invaluable . He hits lefties, Grisham doesn't . He's the only other CF right now and Judge can't play RF everyday. The Yankees have infield depth right now. Without Bellinger, they are strapped in the OF to go along with the bullpen , catching and starting pitching to start the year. Ironically, their inept off season has only increased Bellinger's FA leverage with them. His return won't be nearly enough but it's looking like a way to salvage what has been a disaster of an off season.

20. Sadly, many ASSUMED they'd get a starter…. but here's something to think about… if YOU were a top level starter would you come to the Yanks? Now, stop thinking like a Yankee fan and think like a UFA. We'll assume the yanks will make a great offer…. but wait, the Yanks have Cole, Rodon, Schmidt, Fried, Gil, Schlittler, Warren and Yarbrough… Yes, that 8 guys.. the first 3 will start the year on the IL… but what happens to YOU if they all get healthy? Yarbrough and Warren probably will get bumped… If Gil gets back to form and Schlittler pitches like he did against Boston.. where are YOU going to be? For King, that's San Diego.. Imai, Houston… the numbers just would make me nervous as it should. As far as Bo, I think they are getting royally bleepin tired for playing Scott Boras's dog and pony show and maybe they are using him to get Scotty talking… They want Belli back.. we all know that.. on the bump, it's probably all going to be bull pen parts anyway. Is the interest in Bo real? Maybe… IDK… but Imai was unproven and still cost quite a bit.. and represented by Boras, means playing games.

21. So the Yankees will pass on Bellinger, a clear need for LF, and give his money to Bichette, even though they have a 2nd baseman? It will never happen.

22. In fairness, if Alonso is getting 5 years, Bellinger should be getting at least 6. That being said, too many Yankees fans are expecting the Yankees to sign multiple major contracts, EVERY year. They need to play their young players and give them a decent amount of at bats, before signing others.

    Having a team of mostly high priced free agents (from free agency, as opposed to trades) is just not sustainable.

23. Jazz has to stay. This lifeless team needs a spark plug kinda guy. A lot of people don't like his antics, but he brings some sorely needed rizz to this clubhouse. Get Bo for SS, dump Volpe and get Cody or Tucker.

25. Who did we gain for our bull pen ? Without a new bull pen it will be no different than last year.

26. If Bellinger wants to keep holding out on the offer we should pivot why are we waiting for him?

27. I’d say if Jazz were to be traded this offseason and this would just be an idea of moving Volpe to second base and slide Bichette in at shortstop
