Mike Malone has a history of not getting along with management and lack of development of younger players. He also is making $12M for 25/26 and $12M for 26/27. He’s going to keep that ESPN gig until something like the Clippers or Lakers with seriously deep pocket owners opens up.
I doubt he’d want to deal with this mess.
