I don’t understand why they are so scared to put some guys in waivers that aren’t working out. Gus is having a good season with the moose, why not try bringing him up to try something.
That is the most baffling part IMO.
I have to think Chevy is gone after this season. Feels like window is closed and he made the team worse this past offseason.

Who could we waive, Nyquist, Pearson, Namestnikov? Trade perfetti, maybe Stanley while he’s hot? Maybe waive miller? How do we get more young guys into the fold

I never watch hockey anymore so take this for what it’s worth, but I was at the game tonight and the Jets were dictating the play right from the starting puck drop. When Ottawa scored their first goal the Jets revealed themselves to be a house of cards. They started doing ridiculous blind passes and all around buffoonery. Hellebuyck even joined in on the fun by needlessly flopping around like Hasek on a Sens goal that could have otherwise been stopped easily. And then he later let in a softie. The whole team went from looking like contenders to flaming hot garbage. It was shocking, to be honest. Probably didn’t help that the refs were as brutal as I remember them being decades ago, calling lopsided penalties in favour of the home team and forcing the Jets to play a man short for a good chunk of the game, but either way that Ottawa team looked mostly terrible and very, very beatable.
If you guys think loser Bettman is letting Gavin mckenna come to Winnipeg you got another thing coming.
At this point bring Chibi and Salomonsson back at least, maybe Lambert too.
