He could be a quality role player but the height is just rough. If he isn’t hitting 3s it’s hard to have him on the floor in real minutes.
What’s his skill set? On ball defense is it. Already have Vando and Smart.

If he can become an elite shooter, or even a good open 3pt shooter, with his defense and athleticism that would be enough to get real playing time
JJ was starting to give him more minutes, and then he had that game where he kept passing the ball when ye was open for 3.
Then he was back to garbage time and the g-league.
Which was a shame because up until that point, Bronny had a decent net rating which showed that the team was doing well with him on the floor.
Now those minutes have gone to NSJ who doesn’t hesitate to shoot the ball.
It’s time to let go.

It’s hard to feel good about this when he’s unplayable on the main team in his second year and it’s all self inflicted. There’s nothing impressive about him having 20 point games in the g league and then refuse to take wide open shots in the nba for the second straight season.
Unfortunately he’s too gunshy in the NBA. Otherwise his athleticism is really good for us right now.

The state of this sub really shows itself in these threads. Just constant pointless and baseless negativity, no different than the ugly threads we’ve been seeing constantly ragging on Lebron or Luka, probably a lot of overlap in the users making comments too.
He obviously gets hate because of his Dad (baseless again, he himself has done nothing wrong from that front), but I think the hate is also based on the fact that the team has been completely awful at drafting and developing talent over the last few years.
These comments are ragging on a 21 year old prospect that has only played real minutes in 4 games and they were all in the first month of this season, so trying to claim he can’t play in the NBA is completely baseless when we don’t have enough evidence to support that claim one way or another. He has caused no drama, he keeps his head down and works hard in the G league trying to develop and help the NBA team one day.
I’m not sure what the mods need to do different but this sub is in a seriously ugly spot the last month or so. Being more active with banning users that are consistently trolling in these types of threads would be a good start.
