As of now, 11 teams from the east are in the top 14 in league standings. Pitt is in the final wild card spot as the 8th best team in the east while they are sitting at 11th overall. Compared to the West, the LA Kings are in the final wild card while they are sitting in 23rd place overall.

We have a lot of divisional games coming up and with the all star/olympic break coming up hopefully we can get some win streaks going and teams start tanking
Hopefully this isn’t the spring cool down we always seem to have the last 10+ years.
Feels like the Lions a few years ago, where nobody in our division could lose when we needed them to and just had to win more games. Which was frustrating
