I will never understand team fascination with mid HC who gets carried by elite assistant coordinators. Ownership/GM keeps those mid head coaches and move on from the elite coordinators. I wish one owner has the balls, to talk to HC “hey man we can’t lose that guy” we can promote your ass but we are moving your coordinator as HC.

Todd Bowles as the head coach of the Bucs is the equivalent to if Hue Jackson was hired by the Pats instead of Belichick and they never won a single super bowl but Brady was able to at least lead them to a first round playoff exit most years.
The Bucs are good in spite of Bowles and have severely underperformed their rosters potential because of him.
It’s really the saints qb coach who’s to blame if we’re shirking responsibilities here.

The contract means nothing. They fired Gruden after signing him to a 3 year extension.
