They have certainly played iffy since the Christmas break. I’m not worried just yet but a loss tonight might make me start worrying. LGRW

One full week of break left, and of course it starts off with Ottawa.
Hoping for a post scolding W as that seems the trend.
What a goal by Bennett last night, the kind of goal you would need in a Olympic finals. Oh wait..
Great opportunity tonight to show that this team is different than previous years. Now that everyone relevant has 41 games played we “officially” held 2nd place in the Atlantic and 2nd in the conference at the halfway mark. Great results relative to expectations but if we’re going to hold up we need to be able to win some of these tough division games. There will always be cold streaks so I’m not too worried about the last few sluggish games but the losing skids have to be shorter too.
Very curious to see how the lineup looks tonight.
Leonard has 3 more games on the active roster before he would have to clear waivers. I think it’s time to put him on the top line and find out what his ceiling is.

First Ottawa game of the year… oh boy
Hope raymond and larks are healed and stepping up tonight. Those 2 really determine how we’re going to play. Raymond hasn’t been himself lately and hope he dials it in
Eddie Genborg (2nd round 44th overall 2025 draft) and Sweden go for the gold tonight (8:30 pm EST). 3 goals and 5 assists in 6 games, kid can lay some big hits as well, impressive tournament so far.
Why do I have to go back to work? Oh right money….speaking of getting back to work Wings hopefully snap out of whatever was going on during the last two games
Happy for our Swedish friends btw. Be nice if they can show a little Finnish….and win it all
Tonight is not going to be a good night for my anxiety disorder. The shootout yesterday nearly broke me. So happy for the Swedish kids though, they really deserved this. And Genborg is a beautiful angel that can do no wrong in my eyes.
I’ve given up on original character names for my pathfinder campaign and started recycling hockey player names.
I choose to believe Bear and Plante could have saved those teams.
Ottawa is perfect for a bounce back game. Its kill or be killed vs them and hopefully that brings back the intensity.
Always love watching CZE in international play. Can never accuse them of not giving it their all.
