Accurate. The NBC graphic stopped me in my tracks.
Don’t love the Monday game giving us a short week heading into the divisional providing we win. Would’ve unironically preferred our traditional Saturday 4pm slot…
They did put the shittiest game Saturday at 3:30. Rams vs Panthers. Tells you what they thought about our team in the past.
It does feel a bit like they are giving the old guy more time to recover
But Texans also get a short turnaround for week 2 vs the Broncos with a win. Makes no sense how the NFL did this!
Competively it does make a difference with body rest, game planning, and only one or no days off. Then travel overnight for two games. Thankfully the weather will be mid 20s and no snow.
Living in Europe I don’t like us not playing either of the early games sat/sun but I will do my part, we haven’t lost since I‘m wearing my 2012 JJ Watt Battle red jersey while watching.
Fuck, I would prefer Saturday afternoon to Monday night. Hate have to stay up watching commercials until damn near midnight on a work night. Guess I can dig into that PTO I have been stockpiling.
