1. Marcelo Mayer is the best fielding third baseman on the Red Sox. Here's to hoping he's at the hot corner in 2026.

2. The Red Sox off-season thus far has been ok. Alex Bregman coming back would be a decent last move, and also I agree with another bullpen arm too!

3. Add bregmann, add a lefty veteran reliever. Trade Yoshida. Add number 2 starter. That sounds competitve.

7. If the rotation is Crochet, Gray, Bello, Oviedo, and Sandoval, that leaves AAA as Crawford, Early, Tolle, Harrison, Bennett and Uberstine as the 6 starters. That frees Drohan to join Moran as the two lefties in the pen. Not seeing any adds at this time. Moran doesnt get discussed enough for the significance he brings to them. 102 MPH is 102 MPH, and he'll be a year post TJ.

   That said, if they trade any arms or collection of arms and return one less arm, then Drohan moves into AAA starter and they may be shopping.

   100% in agreement on moving Yoshida to open DH. I like Masa also, and don't dismiss he could contribute, it's just that others (Duran) can provide greater value in that role, while assuring there are 4 legit outfielders on the Boston roster, something that fits with the make the roster deeper.

8. Bring back Bregman at 3B, move Story over to 2B with Meyer taking over at SS … Yoshida should be given every opportunity to remain as the DH … Though he is not a consistent power threat, Masa is still one of our best contact hitters who puts the ball consistently in play … Allowing Casas to gradually transition back by starting the season at Worcester makes a lot of sense … Acquiring another veteran left reliever would also be a welcome addition …

10. Yoshida is essentially just a DH, coming off a negative war year. He's the kind of player that teams can get a better more versatile player on the free agent market and give up nothing, and only pay a couple million dollars. Rob Refsnyder only got one year, at $6 million. The Red Sox are going to have to eat more than $8 million a year to get anything for him.

12. Duran came up in Wooster as a second baseman we need one now ! This makes much more sence more at bats for Duran and at a position he doed not need to learn he was a 2nd baseman already !!! And Rafella can stay in Center GOLD Glove thete !!!

    nobody will pay him 10 /year. might as well keep him andif he plays well one might be able to move him at the deadline.

16. I want duran traded for a quality starter or a package deal with him in it . We dont need 4 starting OF, thats what we have now and i dont want Rafaela at 2nd base

18. Yep agree 💯 Corbin let’s be realistic a 38 year old Chapman most likely is not going to have the year he had last year and if breslow is smart he will realize this so better get another arm example Tanner houck all star game appearance and most likely he will never pitch for this team again

19. Yoshidas contract is cheap now so enough already keep him he is a good option to have as a occasional starter pinch hitter and a bat to have off the bench so trust me yoshida has value

21. Bringing back Bregman will just about keep things even from last year and not improve the team from last year, it is still the # 1 move to make, and I would not take on Bichette at all. The defense will end up hurting you more and that is something the Sox need to improve. To make a perfect end sign Bregman and trade for Peralta of Milwaukee. He is cheap and the rotation of Crochet, Peralta, Gray and Bello would be great. Then try and get rid of Yoshida & Hicks somehow and you can call it a success this offseason. Most likely the Sox are going to get an average bullpen arm at best or not even sign anyone. Just have to hope no one trades for Marte to free up Alex from heading to Arizona.

23. I agree with you especially on bringing Bregman back. I'd like to see Masa traded however unfortunately Duran seems more likely in any case I'd like some movement I'm impatient 😂🤞⚾

24. Perfect offseason would be Bregman/marte. You balance the lineup with another righty and a switch hitter, both have great approaches and shown they can hit good pitching, cut down strikeouts and neither are going to hurt you defensively

25. I would love them to sign Zac Gallen he was in the CY Young voting 3 out of 5 years before a off year last year and maybe he will take a 2 year I am back contract.

27. I wish the would be able to get out from under the Masa contract, but I just don't see it happening. I don't even know if someone would just take him and pay the contract. I think we would have to include a decent prospect just to get him moved. Probably still pay a portion of the contract and get near nothing in return. I do hope soon we see an end to the Bregman/Bichette saga. Just to figure out where we are going forward as a team. I don't think Henry goes into the season without having one of these. I think he understands how to appease the fanbase enough to not hurt a bottom line.
