Because Buffalo *technically* doesn’t have a baseball team, I’ll accept this
Was watching the Bills game yesterday and they were talking about how a backup running back needed 2 TD’s to get to 5 on the season and therefore get a $250,000 bonus.
He got one early in the game. Then late in the game, after they had driven down the field to the red zone without him, sure enough, coach puts him in the game and the first play called was for him and he gets his second TD.
That is (part of) how you do right by your players so they want to play for you. And I can’t ever imagine current Pirates ownership allowing such a thing.
