  1. The Falcons should be the dominant team in the NFC South, they have way too much talent to be so mediocre in that division. Coaching matters, also doesn't help Morris is a defensive coach and their defense was still meh.

  2. Let's be real. Everything about the Falcons doesnt make sense. From ownership decisions all the way down to player's game-day performance. It's been this way for years

  3. Let this be a lesson to all of you. You can be a complete loser and terrible at your job. If people like you they'll make all the excuses in the world for you. Raheem is a terrible coach. He did nothing about the kicker situation last off-season. He scapegoated Ike Hilliard after they got blown out 30-0 by Carolina. He never fixed the special teams all season and it cost them multiple games. He hired Jimmy Lake as DC who wrecked the defense last year. His OC hire had Bijan and Drake and Pitts and yet their offense was almost worst in the league on 3rd down and at scoring points. This dude sucks. But man, the players like him! And the media likes him because he's a nice, handsome, energetic guy! And he squeaked out 4 meaningless wins at the end of the season! It's just crazy that they fired him after missing the playoffs yet again in the worst division in football! /s

  4. poor time management skills. even though I love Koo, they took too long to resolve the kicker situation, which if we had a kicker, could have won us at a min 2 more games and maybe like 4. Dude's been a HC for 6 total years and has a .471 winning percentage. He's nothing but a stop gap HC.

  5. Rich, you deserve your flowers on the Atlanta Falcons take from a couple of years ago. You questioned them signing Cousins and drafting Penix days later. It was a bad call then that cost Fontenot his job. Credit to you because ATL still might not have their qb of today or the future

  6. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the same guy who repeatedly criticizes the decision to pay Kirk cousins a huge contract and then go and get Michael penix Jr? How can you question that, and then defend the person who made that decision? Also, pointing out the fact that the team played hard and won four straight games is a further indictment on the coaching staff. How do you get a team motivated to play when there's nothing to gain, but when you still have everything ahead of you, you blow the games?

  7. Easy, he was awful with time management, does not know NFL rules for ex. Choosing to receive 1st against the Colts in OT is fireable within itself, also include multiple coaching gaffes within those 30 plus games. He was a mismatch every single gameday. Good riddance coach rah rah, go back to the rams… ooo and he only hired ONE good coach. Special teams was the worst in the league by a mile and kept him, jimmy lake had edge rushers sprinting backwards, and zac robinson cant be consistent with top 10 picks… now again tell me why are you confused…

  8. Raheem couldn't take responsibility and leadership to relieve Zac Robinson and Williams of coaching duties.
Offense playcalling? No adjustments to game plans. Special teams? Kicking coverages were terrible. Couldn't get the right kicker.

Yes, Rich, Raheem needed to go.

  9. QB and play calling are their missing pieces. They weren’t developing Penix, and calling bad plays. With that much talent, you should at worst win 10 games in the NFC South.
